East Tennessee Fishing Show
This years event will be from January 16-19, 2014. There will be a boat giveaway at the close of the show on Sunday, January 19th. You do not have to be present to win, but you do have to buy a ticket and attend the show. The show not only offers fishing vendors and information, but also serves as a place to meet pro anglers and learn new fishing techniques. The show is open to the public and is a family friendly event. Tickets are usually around $8 and free for children under the age of 8.
This year's pro anglers will feature Forrest Wood, Jimmy Houston, Terry Scroggins, Jay Yelas, Ott DeFoe, Brandon Card, Shaw Grigsby, Mike Delvisco, Jim Napier, Dan Dannenmuller and Tim Gill.
Chilhowee Park
The East Tennessee Fishing Show is held annually at the Chilhowee Park on East Magnolia Avenue and offers free parking. The show continues to attract more vendors each year and is projected to keep growing.
